Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Resumes

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will resume offering Kennedy Space Center bus tours to the Apollo/Saturn V Center. The bus tours, which had been suspended due to the government shutdown, are available to Visitor Complex guests starting Friday, Oct. 18.

WHAT: The Visitor Complex, including the new Space Shuttle Atlantis, Astronaut Encounter, Angry Birds Space Encounter, Shuttle Launch Experience, and U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, remained open for visitors during the shutdown.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is not funded through appropriated or taxpayer funds. Operation, maintenance, and development are funded through revenue generated by ticket, food, and merchandise sales.

The Visitor Complex will resume offering the Kennedy Space Center bus tour to the Apollo/Saturn V Center on Friday, Oct. 18.

Regular operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
