The Expedition 33/34 prime and backup crews pose for pictures October 18, 2012 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan in front of the famed cottage where Yuri Gagarin slept the night before his launch April 12, 1961 aboard the Vostok 1 spacecraft to become the first human to fly in space. From left to right are prime NASA Flight Engineer Kevin Ford, prime Flight Engineer Evgeny Tarelkin, prime Soyuz Commander Oleg Novitskiy and backup crewmembers Chris Cassidy of NASA, Pavel Vinogradov and Alexander Misurkin.
