CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla – Getting still photographs to work during launches is difficult, but AmericaSpace and its partner organizations are working to provide our viewers with not just still imagery – but video as well. Wired4Space’s Mike Barrett and Jeff Siebert have provided AmericaSpace with this amazing video of the recent launch of a United Launch Alliance Atlas V 401 rocket.

Liftoff occurred at 8:28 a.m. EDT from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex-41 (SLC-41). The payload for this flight was a satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office or NRO dubbed NROL-38.
