Tour Highlight: A large group of Kennedy Space Center summer interns are given a special tour of KSC on June 18, 1969. An obvious highlight was this stop at Launch Pad 39A, where the Saturn V for the Apollo 11 mission was being prepared for the historic first Moon landing the following month. The Apollo 11 Saturn V spent nearly two months at Pad 39A following rollout on May 20, 1969.
