Classic Quote

From Representative Ralph Hall, the Republican Congressman from the Dallas, Texas area (in other words, not from a NASA Center) and ranking member of the House Committee on Science and Technology as reported in an article, “Obama Plan Is At Outline State“, in this week’s Aviation Week & Space Technology,

I can hardly read this damn thing I’m so mad. Congress expects and demands that the Executive Branch offer solid justification for their plans and programs. But for the life of me, I cannot understand how this administration can rationalize its decision to scrap Constellation and simply start anew, especially given the strong support it has received from Congress, Republicans and Democrats.

And so far, the Administration’s point man on NASA, Administrator Charles Bolden, hasn’t given a coherent answer to the questions raised by Representative Hall.
