White House Space Has New Opponent

International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers

Another day, another group opposed to the White House attempt to mortgage our nation’s human space flight program over to the Dot Rocket 2.0 crowd.

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) has written the President expressing its opposition to his new human space flight plan. The letter is a good read and makes a forceful case as to why the union could not support the President’s changes to NASA. In fact, IAMAW President Buffenbarger’s letter could serve as a template for anyone opposed to the Administration’s effort to NASA’s Constellation project.
