Shelton Becomes New Head Of Air Force Space Command

The Colorado Springs Gazette (1/6, Roeder) reports that Gen. William Shelton became the new head of the Air Force Space Command “during an elaborate ceremony” on Wednesday. Shelton replaces Gen. C. Robert Kehler, who was promoted to lead the US Strategic Command. “Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz praised Kehler,” awarding him the Distinguished Service Medal.
