CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla — Wired4Space covered the rollout of NASA’s Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS-K) as it was moved out to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 41 (SLC-41) located in Florida. On Jan. 29, 2013, the railcars delivered the fully-stacked United Launch Alliance Atlas V 401 rocket to the launch site. The slow process of delivering the rocket from the Vertical Integration Facility to SLC-41 is documented here.
