John Kraus

John Kraus

John Kraus was one of the youngest credentialed launch photographers to ever cover the subject, going on Air Force launch assignments under AmericaSpace thanks to Editor Mike Killian starting at age 16 to get real world experience. Kraus grew up following the space program, but only first picked up a DSLR camera for the first time a few years ago.

In his short time covering launches off Florida's Space Coast, Kraus' work has been featured on numerous photography and aerospace websites, as well as internationally recognized publications such as National Geographic. His work even graces the main entrance at ULA Headquarters, and has even been shared by SpaceX visionary Elon Musk.

You can follow his work on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
