US Air Force Awards Lockheed Martin Contracts to Begin Work on Next Set of GPS III Satellites

DENVER, Feb. 25, 2013 — The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] two fixed-price contracts totaling $120 million to procure long-lead parts for the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth next-generation Global Positioning System satellites, known as GPS III.
