Launch of USSF-8 on a Atlas V 511 rocket from Cape Canaveral AFB, FL launch complex LC-41

An Atlas V rocket will launch from launch complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The payload for the flight is USSF-8 which consists of two identical Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program (GSSAP) satellites—GSSAP-5 and GSSAP-6.

The rocket will fly in the inaugural 511 configuration with a core booster, 5m Payload Fairing, a single strap on Solid Rocket Booster, and a single Centaur upper stage.
