In 2009, Jim and a couple of friends started AmericaSpace as a place for aerospace topics to be presented in non-aerospace terms.

These days, Jim tries to stay out of the way of the people at AmericaSpace who are the real talent.

Long ago, Jim earned a BA in History and a BSE and MSE in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.

A single-engine, land private pilot since 2007 and currently working on his instrument rating, Jim loves aviation.
