Atlantis Photo Feature Part One: Alan Walters

AmericaSpace was very fortunate to have numerous photographers covering the departure of Atlantis from the Kennedy Space Center to the adjacent Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. As such, we have decided to post a feature a day, one exclusive to each photographer selected. Today’s images are from our senior photographer, Alan Walters. CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla – As Atlantis slowly rolled toward her new home at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, AmericaSpace traveled ahead of OV-104 to document her journey. AmericaSpace has one of the most diverse and skilled group of photographers in the business. As such, we frequently have too many images to pull from.

Rather than go through a winnowing process that would see many images not used, AmericaSpace has opted to post a photo feature from each photographer. We hope that you enjoy viewing them – as much as we enjoyed shooting them. The first segment is from our senior photographer, Alan Walters.
