A United Launch Alliance Atlas V will launch from Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station carrying the first crewed Boeing Starliner spacecraft to the International Space Station.

Aboard the CST-100 Starliner will be astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams known as Butch and Suni. This is the first test flight of the Boeing crew capsule following an unmanned test flight back in 2019.

The Atlas V will fly in with a common core booster, two solid rocket boosters and a twin RL10A powered Centaur upper stage. All parts of this Atlas rocket are expendable and will not be recovered.

  1. Don’t know if anyone will get to this in time…We’re driving up from Port Canaveral to watch the launch, can we watch this from the Nasa Causeway?
