NASA Engineer has excellent coverage of the big announcement for today by Senators Nelson and Hutchison, Nelson-“The White House Will Announce Their Support for Our Bill Tomorrow”. If true, the battle over the proposal by the White House to end NASA’s human space flight efforts in favor of solely depending upon commercial launchers is over. This is great news! Such a compromise would mean that we can as a nation begin to move forward, rather than continue to see the White House and Congress do battle, over whether our nation will continue its leadership in human space flight.
