NASA will pay $51M/U.S. astronaut to ride on Soyuz from 2012 – 2013.
Since space will be limited on Soyuz for awhile, it looks like the Russians are going to forgo their tourism business, for which they charged $35M. But with the additional $16M, the Russians are not shedding any tears.
