CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla – The launch of a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V 531 rocket and its U.S. Air Force Advanced Extremely High Frequency-2 (AEHF-2) payload was scrubbed today due to a lack of helium flow from ground support equipment to the inter-stage adapter section of the rocket. Both launch vehicle and satellite have been secured and ULA will attempt to launch Friday, May 4 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex-41 (SLC-41) in Florida. The launch window opens at 2:42 p.m. EDT and will extend through 4:42 p.m. Tomorrow’s forecast an 80 percent chance of favorable weather conditions for launch. Stay tuned to AmericaSpace’s Launch Tracker for updates.
