CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla – AmericaSpace was very fortunate to have some of the best photographers in the business covering Atlantis’ final journey. This time, OV-104 traveled to her new home at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The orbiter’s new $100 million facility is slated to open in the summer of 2013.

The only problem we ran into when sorting through all the images is that there were so many great pictures – we felt guilty about leaving so many shots out. As such, we’ve opted to run a photo feature a day, each highlighting the work of a single photographer’s work. Today we’ve tapped the lens of Zero-G News special correspondent Mike Killian.
