CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla – One of the things that AmericaSpace is most proud of is its relationships with its partner organizations. One of these groups is Blue Sawtooth Studio, based out of Malabar, Florida and operated by Lloyd Behrendt. Julian Leek is a photographer with Blue Sawtooth and is a fixture out at Kennedy Space Center and the adjacent Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. He also is a special correspondent with AmericaSpace and has contributed numerous images and content to our website.
During the recent 9.8 mile move of space shuttle Atlantis from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Leek hustled from site to site along the orbiter’s path with the rest of the media. During this third installment in our photo feature series, we’ve selected some of Leek’s best imagery from this historic occasion.
