Walt Cunningham of Apollo 7 fame wrote an op-ed piece titled, Space disgrace: U.S. will lose hard-earned technology edge, that appeared in Saturday’s Houston Chronicle.

Astronaut Cunningham lays out a thorough case as to why the plans drawn-up by NASA and the White House are both bad for the U.S. economy, our nation’s place internationally, but more importantly our view of ourselves and our nation.
