“The Saturn V (500-Foot Test Vehicle) at Pad 39A in the summer of 1966…”
Correction: it’s the “Saturn 500F”. “F” designates “Facilities” as in facilities checkout, not “feet” as in 500 feet.
The Saturn 500F was dimensionally identical in heigh to the operational Saturn V- approx 364 feet tall.
